In order to further strengthen the prevention and control of African swine fever（ASF），special inspection and monitoring was carried out in Xinjiang. On December 5th，2018，the nucleic acid of ASFV was detected for the first time in five batches of frozen dumpling samples from factory A，and these ASFV-positive samples were intercepted at a road checkpoint. For preventing any outbreak that might be caused by contaminated pork products，the pork dumplings at road checkpoints，refrigeration storages and supermarkets were inspected and tested，and the nucleic acid of ASFV was detected again in four batches of dumplings from factory B. This was the first time that ASFV was founded in the introduced pork dumplings continuously and intensively，which implied that ASFV had been spreading in certain area. Therefore，it is necessary to enhance the quarantine in original factories and laboratory detection in slaughterhouses. Then following suggestions were given：further intensifying the inspection and investigation of pork and pork products introduced from other provinces in Xinjiang，strictly controlling the importation of pigs and pork products from infected area.
