In this study, using the PPD method,2 106 cows in a large-scale dairy farm in Xinjiang were tested,a total of 26 cows were detected tuberculosis(TB)positive. Then whole blood derived from 20 TB-negative cows and 26 TB-positive cows were randomly collected to carry out γ-interferon ELISA test and colloidal gold test. Then the detection results were compared with PPD method. According to the comparative results, there were 16 samples detected TB-positive and 10 samples detected negative by both three methods, the detection coincidence rate was 57%. For the comparison between PPD and γ-interferon method,23 samples were detected TB-positive,with a positive coincidence rate of 88%(23/26);11 samples were detected TB-negative,with a negative coincidence rate of 55%(11/20). For the comparison between PPD and colloidal gold test,19 samples were detected positive, with a positive coincidence rate of 73%(19/26),19 samples were detected negative, with a negative rate of 95%(19/20). As a conclusion, the coincidence rates among the three methods for TB detection were relatively low. Each method had its advantage and disadvantage, such as the sensitivity of γ-interferon ELISA test was highest, while colloidal gold test possessed the highest specificity. Hence, the detection method should be reasonable selected on the basis of actual requirements and needs.
