In order to investigate the implementation of bio-safety measures in fur animal farms（minks，foxes and raccoon dogs）in Shandong Province，an electronic questionnaire was conducted for the general information of farms/households，zoning within the farms，feed types，disease prevention measures，disinfection measures，feeding management（drinking water，animal reproduction，vaccination and others）. A total of 105 valid questionnaires were received，covering breeding farms，commercial farms and households. However，zoning management of the office，production and living areas were achieved only in 53.3% farms/households；self-made feed was predominant，and the main raw materials included poultry and marine products；most farmers were aware of disinfection throughout farms with insufficient specific measures，but knew little about bio-safety disposal of animal carcasses. It was concluded that the bio-safety awareness of farmers was at higher level although the cognition was still incomplete，there were still some security loopholes in the farm design，disinfection，feeding management and bio-safety disposal，etc. Therefore，bio-safety control should be strengthened in the farms/households to further improve the awareness for relevant technologies.
