Fostering virtue through education is a fundamental task of higher education，which may be implemented through ideological and political（I&P）curriculum education，while Animal Immunology is a subject to study the tissue structures and biological functions of animal immune system. In the paper，in order to enable students to master knowledge and improve their personal humanistic quality，and also provide a reference for I&P education of other curriculums，the necessity of I&P curriculum education was comprehensively analyzed，and how to integrate I&P education into Animal Immunology teaching was described from the aspects of integrating case-teaching into curriculum，carrying out I&P education using modern multimedia communication means，and excavating the ideological and political contents contained in the knowledge described in the curriculum.
