On January 26,2021,the pigs kept by a farmer in Liupanshui City,Guizhou Province abnormally died. In order to identify the causes,a field epidemiological investigation was carried out by means of site visit and sampling for detection. It was investigated that the death might be due to zearalenone accumulative poisoning caused by feeding with an excess of moldy corns. To avoid any re-occurrence of such accident, farmers were therefore recommended to add moisture-proof plates when storing feed, regularly observe the status of their feed, and prohibit feeding with any moldy feed.
