For the purpose of protecting and improving environment and the public's health,and developing livestock industry sustainably and healthily,it would be a key topic to be solved by the industry to develop an efficient and sustainable model of comprehensive utilization of animal manure. To this end,three models applied in Kunshan City were introduced and analyzed,which were applicable to different scenarios,specifically,“blister dung + biogas anaerobic multi-stage biochemical purification tank + returning to farmlands”for vegetable planting enterprises,large backyard farms and small or medium-sized farms;“dry collection + aerobic fermentation in dung shed+ anaerobic fermentation+ returning to farmlands”,with high cost of sewage treatment,for medium or above farms with a certain planting area around;and“dry collection + aerobic composting + anaerobic fermentation + organic fertilizer base materials”for poultry and livestock breeding farms with strong policy support and fixed scale. Considering respective characteristics of the three models,farms were recommended,during their resource utilization of animal manure,to select a scientific,reasonable and sustainable model according to local conditions.
