In order to identify the species and genetic evolutionary relationship of Trichuris in Liaoning cashmere goats,10 strains of Trichuris derived from the goats from eastern mountainous areas in the province were studied, their internal transcribed spacer(ITS)was amplified by PCR and then sequenced, followed by homology analysis on the results and other animal Trichuris published in GenBank, then construction of a phylogenetic tree. The results showed that the morphology and structure of the 10 strains conformed to the characteristics of Trichuris, and their ITS1 sequence length was basically consistent, which was about 445 bp;the homology with the two stains of Trichuris in Chinese blue sheep registered in GenBank was highest, from 95.5% to 100%,and from 93.7% to 98.7%,respectively;it was shown that,by phylogenetic tree analysis, all the samples were clustered in the same branch as the above two strains, and the intraspectic difference(from 0 to 2.1%)was much smaller than the interspecific one(from 23.6% to 50.6%). In conclusion, the Trichuris isolated from Liaoning cashmere goats belonged to Trichuris ovis, the ribosomal ITS sequence was relatively conservative within species, which might be used as the target gene for molecular identification and genetic evolution research of Trichuris.
