EU is China's largest export trade partner，but its import of animals and animal products from China accounted for a very small proportion due to its technical barriers to a large extent. In recent years，a series of laws and regulations on animal health and welfare were published by EU，not only its livestock and poultry industry but also its threshold for international animal and animal product trade were upgraded. For the purpose of seeking for a technical support for relevant enterprises in China to export their animal products，EU authorities for animal health，current regulations on animal health and EU's requirements for animal product trade were introduced in the paper.
