摘要:Chick embryo and chick embryo fibroblast were infected with reovirus U. Conn. S1133 strain. Three sorts of antigens prepared from PEG-6000 concentrated chick embryo allantoic fluid, saturated ammonium sulphate sedimented allantoic fluid and cell culture supernate were all of good specificity and sensitivity and suitable for individual and group detection. Though there was no difference in detection rate with the three antigens, the cell culture supernate antigen was superior to other two antigens in titre and line sharpness. AGID was conducted in detection of antibody in chick sera 3, 11 and 31 weeks after experimentally infection, with the positive rates of 100%,95% and 90% respectively and the highest titre of 1 = 64. 12 flocks in Shanghai areas were investigated and 9 of them were found to be positive with the infection rate of 3. 4-53. 3% indicating that Shanghai areas have been contaminated with chick viral arthritis.

摘要:Aeromonas salmonicida causing furunculosis of fish and other fish diseases could only be isolated from fish during diseas period. It is also difficult to isolate and identify this organism with routine bacteriological isolation and culture though it is present in water and roes. We have tried EL1SA in detection of Aeromonas salmonicida in water with success, the detectable level could reach 5 organisms/ml providing that 100ml water sample containing 500 organisms could be concentrated into 0. 05ml. The experiment results showed that EL1SA is a simple and quick technique in the detection of Aeromonas salmonicida in water with high sensitivity and specificty.

摘要:A BTV isolate (L001) was serotyped against international standard BTV-type specific sera and the laboratory prepared BTV type-specific sera using both OIE recommended plaque inhibition test and the modified plaque inhibition test (suspension plaque inhibition test). The results showed that L001 isolate was identical to the standard strain of BTV-16 in both plaque inhibition tests and PAGE pattern of RNA from L001 was the same as that of the standard strain of BTV-16. L001 isolate is believed to belong to BTV-16.
