摘要:Some pathogenic Vibro cholerae strains have been isolated hem bullfrogs imported from Taiwan, China since Sep 1999. Among these strains, 6 of them belonged to V .cholerae O1 and the other 2 were non - O1 and non - O139.The bacteriophage lytic test proved that these bacteria were Inaba non - epidemigenic strains.But they had high fatality the and pathogenicity to mice in animal experiment.

摘要:74 pigs were transported to a mechanized abattoir over a distance of 600 ~ 800 km.They were divided into water given group and no water given group, and each of these groups was fulther subdivided into batches being rested for 4. 8. 12. 16 and 20 h before slaughter.The PH. colour. firmness. water retention and water contention in the longissimus dorsi muscles were measured after slaughtering.The percentage of PSE meat occurrence was lower in water given group (17.6%) than in no water given group (22.5%), and it was 16.7%. 25.0% . 33.3%.0%. 12.5%; 0%. 12.5%. 33.3%. 22.2%. 40.0% in subdivided batches respectively.No DFD meat was found in any groups or batches. It was concluded that long distance disported pigs with 4h rest and no water given or with 16h rest given water before slaughter yielded meat better quality after slaughter.
